Suggested Uses for This Sonship Study Guide
This manual contains the revised and expanded text of Jim McNally’s original book and now includes exercises at the end of each chapter. The book has been converted into a Study Guide to be used in a variety of settings. It is designed for a men’s Bible Study, for self-taught learners and for Men’s Ministries.
The chapters are short and easy to read. At the end of each chapter, you will find a page of fill-in-the-blank exercises that substantiate the points offered in that chapter. Next, you will find a set of questions entitled “Topics for Reflection” which are useful for group discussion or personal reflection.
Finally, our last exercise, “Witness to Power: My Progress and Accountability Log”, borrows from Apostle Paul’s letter to the Corinthians where he announces his upcoming visit and his desire to hear testimony of the power of God in the believers’ lives. See how he provokes accountability in the local church:
“Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. What will ye? Shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?” (1 Cor 4:18-21 KJV)
We also offer a Facilitator’s Manual containing answers to the exercises and access to related online materials at spiritual-strategies.com
